VeggieTales: Lettuce Love One Another

In the spirit of Valentine’s Day that is quickly approaching (just one week away!), I wanted to share about another VeggieTales DVD that has become a favorite in our house and is appropriately titled “Lettuce Love One Another!” This DVD includes three popular VeggieTales episodes—Tomato Sawyer & Huckleberry Larry’s Big River Rescue, Abe and the Amazing Promise and King George and the Ducky—in addition to five brand-new “Bible Bits,” story shorts that demonstrate examples of giving and forgiving, helping, praying and sharing. Each episode in this collection helps teach a valuable lesson about love, whether it’s through honoring others when we help them, having patience or the importance of putting others first.

“Lettuce Love One Another!” would make the perfect Valentine’s gift for children (and let’s be honest… it’s a much better alternative to all of the ridiculous amounts of chocolate and candy that surround that day). I personally love that Kynlee loves VeggieTales because of the great lessons the different DVDs teach. This particular movie is even helping to prepare Kynlee for her baby brother’s arrival with the examples of giving and forgiving, helping, praying and sharing that it portrays.
