I am definitely in the nesting stage. I have the urge to paint, pull up carpet, and basically redo something in every room in our house. The updates to the house are needed but I’m not sure this is the smartest thing for me to do just 8 weeks out from having our second child 
. What I really want to do is a mini makeover for our Master Bedroom. I’d like to paint and get a new bed set, for sure. Probably add in some new décor pieces, as well. I’ve been searching for comforter sets and recently came across Frette, which is an online bedding and linens retailer. One of my favorite sets on Frette’s website is called “The Millionaire Silver” and is pictured below:
Isn’t that gorgeous? I was thinking about painting the walls in our room a light to medium shade of grey, so this would actually be perfect for it! The Mink blanket would be a separate purchase but I think it would help tie everything together, don’t you? And of course the throw pillows would be a must, too. Frette also offers bath items, which is another room that I want to redo (hey, I wasn’t lying when I said that I want to redo something in every room!). We’ve had the same color scheme for 5 years and I am pretty much over it at this point. The bathrobes on their website look SO comfy – I’d love to be wrapped up in one of those, laying on my new comforter and sheet set tonight. Wishful dreaming, huh?
Frette has so many beautiful options that I don’t know how I will ever choose! Hopefully, sooner rather than later, I can post pictures of our completed master bedroom makeover!
What’s one room in your house that you’d love to makeover?
I’ve actually been wanting to redo our bedroom lately. I just got a new bed set but I need more sheets. I’m going to have to head over to Frette and look around. Thanks!
Ooooh I love it!! I think grays, silvers and blues are perfect for a bedroom. Romantic and masculine for hubby at the same time! Can’t wait to see the makeover pics!

I would definitely like to make over our living room. Right now it needs some definite help!
Our room could really use a makeover too, but we are doing the kid’s rooms first. Got baby boy’s done so now our daughter wants to do hers… then maybe it will be our turn!
I would love to make over my family room. I’d love it to have a sports theme too it! lol Of course, there’s always the boring bedroom I’d love to make over as well. =)
I guess you can say i want to give the bedroom lil c will be moving into when me and my guy get married ….a make over… Its the only room in my fiancees house that hasnt been redone… and it still has pinkish carpeting!!! YIKES! not for a boy!
My bathroom.,…wait, no, my kitchen…eh, can it just be my whole house?
There is totally time to repaint and spice up your master bedroom….. how do I know? Because I did that (well Dustin did that) mere weeks before Willow was born.
We are seriously in need of new bedding, we don’t even have a comforter honestly! I love those colors you have in mind too!
That is a beautiful bedding set! I’ve been itching to make over our family room area. It’s so plain and dull, but it has to be that way for now with two young grandsons.
I would love to redo my bedroom and then the kids but with getting ready to move I can see it happening a little easier I mean a fresh start should also include makeovers right
