If you remember, just over a month ago I shared that I would be watching The Amazing Spider-man movie before it hit stores, thanks to a pre-order at Walmart! Well, the time has come! On October 30th, I was emailed that The Amazing Spider-man was now available for me to watch on Vudu.com so that meant it was time for a viewing party! First, I made a trip to Walmart to pick up one of their Marketside pizzas and a few other snacks. As the official launch gets closer, Walmart will have the Amazing Spider-Man themed Augmented Reality triggers included on the pizza box & display pallet, triggering special Amazing Spider-Man experiences on your iPhone, iPad or Android in-store. When I was shopping at my local Wal-mart, they already had some of the Spider-man pizza boxes available!
As I was heading to check out, I saw Mr. Snowman, decked out in his hunting gear and ready to get a deer! I feel like I wouldn’t see this up north. Only in the south, right?!
A few days later, it was finally time for our viewing party. We had a stuffed-crust pepperoni pizza (that I added even more pepperoni to before baking it) to eat prior to watching the movie, as well as boiled peanuts and leftover Halloween candy to munch on during the movie :).
No one wanted their picture taken while eating, but Luke was a good sport about it!
Once we finished eating, everyone just vegged out on the couch and got ready to watch the movie (and eat way too much candy and boiled peanuts, of course!).
Without spoiling the movie, here are a couple of pictures of it playing through the computer. We quickly realized that it would be better to play it through the TV so that everyone could see it better, and be able to really enjoy the movie. I know I definitely enjoyed the movie and would recommend it to others. It’s become my favorite Spider-man movie thus far!
Are you, or someone in your family, excited to see this movie? Let me know in a comment below!
