I firmly believe that people should do whatever they need to in order to be truly happy with themselves. Although I advocate this, I still struggle with this concept on a daily basis. I think everyone has, at one point or another, had something that they’d like to change about themselves. For several of my friends, this “change” included getting breast implants. I’ve been pretty blessed in that department, but I do think about having a lift or something of the sort done after we decide that our family is complete and will not be having any more children. Several factors would come into play at that time, though. Cost of surgery would be high up on the list for sure. I haven’t really checked into prices for a breast lift, but I do know that the breast implants prices in the US can range greatly. I pretty much expect the same thing for a lift or any other kind of cosmetic surgery.
I personally don’t see anything wrong with plastic surgery as long as you don’t go overboard with it. Let’s face it – there are people who are the epitome of plastic-surgery-gone-wrong. If you are that unhappy with yourself, it might be better to talk to a professional about it instead of going through extensive surgeries. If you’re in the wrong mindset, then no amount of “nips and tucks” will ever make you truly love yourself. I really try not to judge others on the decisions they make to feel better about themselves. Just remember: every person has their own battles to face!
