Crockpot Roast, Carrots & Potatoes (Recipe)

Crockpot Roast, Carrots, & Potatoes

One of my absolute favorite things to make using my crockpot is a roast with carrots and potatoes! I like to cook it all day long and when supper time rolls around the house is smelling ah-mazing! You’ll have a full meal that everyone is sure to love and the clean-up is so simple since everything is cooked in one pot! It’s a win-win. Everyone has their own way of cooking this but the way I do it is so easy and requires minimal ingredients!

Yep, this is ALL I use to cook my roast. You can use any kind of roast that you want. I’ve become partial to the chuck roast so that’s what I normally use.

Chuck Roast

Potatoes (washed and cut up or sliced)

{2 packets}-Brown Gravy Mix

Packet of Ranch Seasoning

Packet of Italian Seasoning

Directions: Place roast into crockpot and set for 8-10 hours on low. Sprinkle 1 packet of brown gravy mix, 1 packet of ranch, and 1 packet of Italian seasonings directly onto the roast. Place the cover on and forget about it! This doesn’t require water or anything else at this point – seriously, just pour the three packets on top of the roast and let the crockpot do the rest! About an hour to an hour and a half before you’re ready to eat, add in the carrots and potatoes. At this time you’ll also wanted to add in the other brown gravy packet, but first mix it with water as directed on the packet. Pour over the roast, carrots, and potatoes and let it finish cooking. Then, enjoy! 🙂
